About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Financial Analysis Consultant to support the CIB Banking business. As part of the Banking Analytics team, this senior individual contributor will construct and deliver insightful and actionable analysis to senior leadership in support of client coverage strategy, market penetration, capital optimization, and general performance management across the platform. Additionally, the role will also partner with stakeholders across the CFO, COO, and other areas of the Data Insights & Analytics team to develop and optimize comprehensive reporting solutions for the Banking business.In this role, you will:Lead all client analytics efforts, including formalized account planning and associated client selection processesDrive the evolution and refinement of banker and line of business performance scorecards, architect and institutionalize key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the success against past performance and future goalsSupport growth-oriented strategic business initiatives, including market/opportunity assessment and ongoing performance measurement reporting and analysisDefine the vision and inform requirements for build-out and refinement of automated business intelligence dashboards that support a variety of needs across client, pipeline, market share, and other domainsDrive efficiencies and automation by identifying process improvements, data quality and availability enhancements, and optimization of Wells Fargo India (WFI) teamAnticipate evolving partner needs and proactively seek stakeholder feedback to develop a deeper understanding of business priorities and opportunities; step in where necessary to secure agreement or consensusChampion the business case for a data-driven organization by providing actionable, fact-based insight and analysis.Stay current on market and business trends; contribute thought leadership across the organization utilizing technical, business, and domain knowledgeRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Strong analytical skills, with ability to manipulate and derive insights from large, complex data sets with strong attention to detail and accuracyStrong interpretative and consultative skills, with ability to translate empirical insights into actionable, thematic content and provide strategic advice and counselStrong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex content to senior management in a compelling manner and digestible formatSolid understanding of investment banking corporate banking businesses, including M&A, capital markets, credit, and treasury managementClear understanding of return on capital and P&L analysisProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (i.e., advanced data modelling/analytics and creating presentations for executive management and other senior stakeholders)Familiarity with Wells Fargo CIB and Commercial Banking systems, tools, and data environments (e.g., Salesforce CRM, CIBDM, WCDIR, WDM, ProfitView)Fluency in relational database conceptsComfort with project management and process enhancementExperience working on teams with an offshore componentAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentDexterity navigating a matrixed environment, including ability to build effective partnerships across various functional teams and levels of the organizationAbility to automate and create repeatable/scalable operating and reporting processes with data integrityAbility to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and managementPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
