Lead Image Processing Engineer - Brady Corporation : Job Details

You'll contribute to product development, optimize existing technologies, and work closely with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. • Partner with customers and product teams to understand specific needs, gather insights, and develop tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
• Design and test firmware on embedded platforms, such as Raspberry Pi, to automate processes and improve product functionality with direct impact on the customer experience.
• Use your expertise in electronics, sensors, and optics/RFID systems to ensure high-quality image capture and processing, adapting solutions based on customer feedback.
• Develop and refine image processing and pattern recognition algorithms, implementing these in C/C++ and optimizing for embedded platforms based on end-user feedback.
• Apply statistical methods and Design of Experiments (DOE) to validate system performance and reliability, focusing on enhancing features that directly benefit customers.
• Engage directly with customers to provide technical insights, troubleshoot issues, and gather feedback on product performance, ensuring customer needs are reflected in every stage of development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer support, to ensure product specifications, documentation, and testing are aligned with customer expectations.
