Work with supervisor and support all assigned personnel and equipment requirements during respective shift. While performing the duties listed below, the lead is required to spend 85% of time on the floor.Day-to-Day Role:Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirementsFollow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standardsFollow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Assist in start-up, shut down, checking, and troubleshooting of lines as necessary. Set up Inspector Packers daily to make sure all lines are properly covered. Conduct quality checks, correct deficiencies, and initiate quality audits as necessaryCheck all products in the department to ensure quality product is being produced. Ensure adequate amounts of material are in the department to maintain productionCoordinate with supervisor to review and maintain production schedules to ensure resources are available to meet schedule. Ensure that accurate production information is reported and the appropriate paperwork is completed and turned inAudit the floor as required by Leader Standard Work, monitor productivity metrics, verify adherence to procedures and standard work, correct deficiencies and escalate to supervisor as necessaryCommunicate with oncoming shifts about any problems or issues that are occurring. Work with other departments to maintain or improve communicationsNotify supervisor immediately and recommend solutions if there are issues that will prevent achievement of efficiency goalsPerform routine duties in support of shift requirementsActively support Operational Excellence and effectively participate in lean initiatives and problem solvingCore Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:At least one (1) year of related production / manufacturing experience working in a fast-paced work environmentHigh School Diploma or GEDDemonstrated leadership skillsDemonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issuesPreferred Skills and Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degreePrior training experiencePrevious experience in a Lead roleOverview: Dart makes everyday products that give people the freedom to enjoy the food & drinks they love, wherever they are.
