As a the Lead Installer Valley Signs, you will be asked to perform a variety of tasks related to sign construction and installation. You will need to understand materials, fabrication equipment, simple construction and installation . The quality of our product relies on those fabricating and installing them, and how they work and communicate in a team environment. This can often be a very face paced environment, requiring multitasking and organization. Each step of the process is critical to the team and it's success.
Vinyl application, painting, running a CNC, as well as various fabrication tasks will be part of your responsibilities. On-site sign mounting, construction and installation will also be included in your responsibilities. Our customers rely on us to deliver high quality products and installations, in a timely fashion. Our Team relies on the Lead Installer to coordinate schedules (with Operations Manager), subcontractors, and other services to insure a smooth delivery and installation. Delivering a quality / reliable product let's them know that their project is important to us and that we care. We don't exist without our customers; so cultivating trusting and loyal relationships is paramount to our success.

Responsibilities
-Prioritize & coordinate sign fabrication & installation (in house & on-site)
-Develop fabrication & installation techniques
-Establish schedules & deadlines
-Identify and resolve issues
-Assist in physical fabrication and installation
-Mount and/or hang signs in the field
-Any other tasks required
Qualifications
-Strong Communication Skills. Convey ideas and expectations clearly. Work with job managers and designers to understand sign concepts
-Leadership. Lead the team with clear direction, motivation & support
-Organization. PFIM must be highly organized in several categories, including scheduling/time management, task processes, tool sets, hardware sets and resource allocation
-Adaptability and Problem solving. Sign making and installation is sometimes NOT straightforward. PFIM must be flexible, solution based, and creative when problems arise
-Process Oriented. Many processes exist for a variety of job types. Processes need to be understood, followed and repeated precisely to maintain the Valley Signs standard
-Technical Expertise. There are many methods of sign making and installation. These frequently reflect basic construction methods, but also require a finer sense of appearance utilizing concepts of both form and function
