Lead - PECO Pallet : Job Details

Job Summary:

Lead is responsible for ensuring that the building meets its production objectives and is operating in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties:

* Track hourly production and ensure that hourly targets are met by both operators and line.

* Collect and track production and damage rate numbers.

* Track employee attendance.

* Train new operators on the PECO quality spec and how to sort and repair pallets if trainer is unavailable.

* Ensure that all operators have proper tools and equipment to complete their job.

* Ensure that all operators are working in a safe and efficient manner.

* Clean or report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers.

* Ensure all employees are using proper PPE.

* Complete all daily paperwork (OIS, RFU/WIP audits, Audit the Auditor, dumpster dives, etc.)

* Communicate any issues on floor to supervisor/manager.

* Communicate with employees to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

* Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience:

* Graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development (GED).

* Good attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.

* Ability to drive production with employees.
