Our client, a prominent industrial establishment in Greencastle, IN, is currently seeking a Lead Molding Process Technician to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Positions available on 1st and 2nd shift. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits within a dynamic and supportive work environment.Position Summary:As a Lead Molding Process Technician, you will set up and adjust plastic molding machines according to blueprints and customer specifications. Work on projects which require a wide degree of originality, latitude, and independent judgment to support production targets and business objectives.Key Responsibilities:•Read specifications, position and secure molds, adjust temperature and pressure controls, and produce sample products.•Measure and inspect samples for defects, make necessary adjustments, and create production cycle and maintenance logs.•Order parts, maintain inventory, and lead improvement activities.•Assist with new product processes, perform mold trials, stay updated on repair methods, ensure safety compliance, and perform other assigned duties.Qualifications:•Associate's Degree in Industrial Technology or a related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of experience as a senior level technician in plastics molding environment.•Or 5-8 years' experience as a senior level technician in a plastics molding environment.•Must complete required training in molding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, robotics, and PLCs.•Strong communication, leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills•Experience with robotic/automated equipment•Effective teamwork and interpersonal skillsIf you are a skilled Injection Molding Technician looking for a rewarding career opportunity with a leading employer, we encourage you to apply now!
