We at Forrest Solutions are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lead Office Services Associate with expertise in print operations to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the print services function, lead a team of associates, coordinate print requests, and ensure high-quality production. This role demands strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of print operations, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily print services operations, ensuring all printing, copying, and binding tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Prioritize and coordinate incoming print requests from various departments, ensuring clarity of instructions, adherence to deadlines, and quality standards.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of printing equipment, including high-speed digital printers, large format printers, copiers, and binding machines.
- Perform quality checks on all print jobs to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and compliance with brand standards and client requirements.
- Train and mentor print associates in equipment operation, best practices, and quality control processes to enhance efficiency and output quality.
- Monitor and manage inventory of printing supplies, including paper, toner, and binding materials, and place orders to prevent supply shortages.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflow, reduce waste, and improve turnaround times.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide custom print solutions for complex projects and special requests.
- Manage relationships with external vendors for equipment maintenance, repairs, and supply procurement.
- Prepare reports on print volume, costs, and service performance metrics for management and budgeting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards within print services operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in print services or reprographics, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of digital printing, finishing techniques, and print production processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on training, coaching, and improving team performance.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting a variety of printing and binding equipment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and print management software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment as needed.
- Prior experience in office services, with a preference for candidates who have worked in professional corporate or legal environments.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in managing print and reprographics tasks.
- Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
- Experience with mailroom operations, supply management, or hospitality-related services is a plus.
