Lead Packer - Inlines - Sabert Corporation : Job Details

The Lead Packer will be responsible for orientation & training of new packers to the shift. They will be responsible for the development of the packers on their team including but not limited to certification & progress conversations. They will be able to provide back-up to the supervisors in supervisory actions related to packers. Other job responsibilities include assigning employees to lines, tracking attendance, assist in breaking packers for their breaks, ensuring all production lines have the necessary tools and equipment needed based on the packing specifications. Responsibilities: Production: Assign machine line responsibility to shift employees. Assigns and helps to give breaks (including lunch) throughout shift. Responsible for picking, inspecting, and packing quality parts into boxes. Accurately counting parts to ensure that customers get a consistent, quality product.
