You must provide excellent craftsmanship, leadership, and outstanding communication to help us achieve our purpose of restoring lives.We are looking for someone who
- Has 3-5 years of on-job experience in a verifiable paint role.
- Has 2-3 years of team leadership in a construction environment.
- Can function in a high stress environment that can change daily.
- Has excellent time management, delegation, and multi-tasking skills.
- Is self-motivated and can work independently and as a team.
- Can provide constructive feedback to team members and is open to receiving feedback to help them grow and learn.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of paint and job site safety.
- Skilled in all aspects of site prep, painting, spraying finishes and touchup work.
- Work on jobsites daily and always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Drive company vehicle to jobsites- follow all traffic laws.
- Communicate technical knowledge and expectations in a professional/effective manner to homeowners who may be unfamiliar with painter terminology and process.
- Oversee 1-2 staff - ensure high quality of work and set clear expectations.
- Work to develop painters and other team members.
- Work week is typically 40-45 hours a week, not expected to exceed 50 hours during busy times.
Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is a very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
- Candidate for employment must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
- Candidate must pass a criminal background check to perform work on insurance related claims.
- Basic knowledge of smartphone/email technology.
