The City of O'Fallon is looking for an energetic, organized and customer-focused team member for the position of Lead Part Time Recreation Assistant at the Renaud Center. Our Lead Part Time Recreation Assistants enjoy a fun work environment, with plenty of variety in their workdays. The expected starting rate of pay is $14.40 hourly. The hours for this position typically include nights and weekends, approximately 10 - 20 hours per week.What it's like to be a Lead PT Recreation Assistant at Lead PT Recreation AssistantAs a Part-Time Lead PT Recreation Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of community engagement! In this dynamic role, you will answer telephone inquiries and warmly greet visitors, providing essential information and assistance to enhance their experience. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and updating vital records, such as attendance, inventory, and basic financial transactions, ensuring smooth operations.You'll register program participants, manage fees, and process pavilion rentals while assisting residents with their reservations for recreation facilities. Additionally, you'll handle new and renewed membership applications, perform cashier functions, operate the point-of-sale register, prepare deposits, and reconcile daily cash reports.
