Lead Property Maintenance Technician Multi-Property - HRM SERVICES : Job Details

We are looking for a Full-Time Lead Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of multiple premises. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly in a fast paced and detailed environment. We are seeking an independent, hardworking employee that is organized, detailed and understands the importance of communication and working together as a team. *Must Have Dependable Transportation**This Job Requires Frequent Travel - Mileage and Per Diem Paid*Responsibilities

• Supervise Maintenance Technicians
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance and instillation of systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, change filters in furnaces etc.) assist in setup of systems and conduct repairs when necessary, maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Ability to navigate smart phone, electronic work orders
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Willing to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc.

Skills

• Proven experience as property maintenance technician
• Communicate and partner with all levels of management as well as vendors
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working Knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy skills, including software, Microsoft, Office Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certification in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
