Job Description :
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Quality engineering Manager consist of but are not limited to:
  • Ensure the lead and the skill development of the team and provide all needed resources for the proper performance of their task
  • Implement ongoing training programs for staff to maintain a high level of skills and awareness of quality and compliance with standards
  • Lead First articles Inspection and preparation of approval packages with different customers
  • Ensure the conform implementation of CMM programming and the preparation of final inspection templates.
  • Guarantee the respect of deadlines and NPI milestones communicated to customers
  • Inspect, report data and suggest process/tooling adjustment for NPI parts.
  • Work closely with production and engineering departments to develop manufacturing processes and ensure continuous improvement activities
  • Lead designing fixtures and special tooling required for casting, machining and Inspection.
  • Prepare CNC machines process/programs.
  • Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
  • Analyse deviations to identify root causes and put in place corrective and systemic actions
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to ensure effective introduction of new parts
  • Put in place an effective monitoring plan for process capability and implement corrective actions in case of deviations.
  • Work closely with production and engineering departments to develop and implement processes and procedures that improve efficiency and reduce non-conformities
Required skills / Qualifications:
  • Engineer preferred in mechanical speciality or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years in similar position, aerospace is an advantage
  • Technical competence in drawings and technical documents reading and interpretation; GD&T is a plus
  • Technical competence in problem solving, Lean Manufacturing techniques and core tools
  • Able to read, write, and speak in standard English
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software.
  • Knowledge of CNC programs.
  • Knowledge of machining process (Turning and Milling)
  • CAD/CAM experience
  • knowledge of CMM programming
  • Ability to manage across multiple levels of the organization and lead efforts when needed
  • Able to communicate material and train employees in a clear and concise manner either through written or verbal instructions
