POSITION OVERVIEWThis position is for highly organized and customer-centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous home remodeling and handyman experience required - basic construction and home maintenance skills are necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast growing company. House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Charleson - Kanawha Valley area. We are looking for energetic, friendly and professional people who enjoy working on various home improvement and maintenance projects such as new bathrooms, kitchens, home repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Always keep job sites safe and clean for our customers and technicians.
  • Perform various types of home improvement/ maintenance work, including residential and commercial work
  • Recommend best solutions for each application as it pertains to safety, functionality and performance working within the guidelines of the manufacturers installation instructions.
  • Communicate effectively and report daily with management.
  • Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service
  • Representing House Doctors in the local community, and networking with potential customers
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of construction/home maintenance experience
  • Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the industry
  • Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems
  • Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
  • A strong work ethic and highly dependable
  • Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
  • Valid driver's license
