Job Summary DAVACO Inc. is looking to staff a dynamic Lead Retail Technicians! As a project-based Lead Retail Technician I you will work as part of a team to reset client stores in your area. The Lead Retail Technician will be responsible for showcasing products at our client's locations by building and/or maintaining attractive displays while leading, training and monitoring a crew. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to lead a crew of 25 + people.
- Able to assist with leading, monitoring and training crew members as needed.
- Good work ethics, excellent attendance, follows DAVACO policies and maintains professionalism while on any DAVACO assignment.
- Has technology skills required to assist with any reporting and documentation for the project as assigned by the FM or PM.
- Demonstrates awareness of safety and ensures safety standards are always adhered to.
- Excellent with time management skills to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Able to manage large scope projects that run multiple weeks, maintain the established goals per the customers' requirements.
- Able to direct large crews, multi-task and communicate with DAVACO management and clients.
- Able to make a schedule from a full set of plans, develop the daily scope of work for the team as well as planning the upcoming scope of work for the duration of the project.
- Communicating to project managers/field manager/operations manager.
- Able to ensure quality control is maintained on the job site.
- Proficient with fixture inventory management (receiving, perpetual inventory management and returns).
- Ensuring that the jobsite has the proper tools available for the duration of the project.
Skills Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have experience in reset merchandising in a retail, grocery, or Hardware resets.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in assembling and installing fixtures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with coworkers, store personnel and vendors.
Physical Requirements
- Please be aware that background reports, driver's license verifications, motor vehicle reports and drug screenings are part of our screening process. You must have satisfactory results.
- Have the ability to lift and/or pull, push 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Have the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
- Stamina to stand, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
Travel Requirements
- Must be comfortable sharing a hotel room with a colleague during travel.
- Must be comfortable sharing a rental car with a colleague during travel.
- Willingness to travel to various client locations as projects demand, which may require overnight stays and may require travel by airplane.
- A smartphone is needed in good working condition with handsfree capability.
