What You'll Be Doing:
Lead Innovation:
- Drive the development of RNA synthesis and purification processes to enable clinical programs and advanced manufacturing.
- Oversee the creation of next-generation RNA platforms to support continuous, integrated manufacturing processes.
Mentor & Grow:
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of scientists.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, scientific excellence, and innovation.
Collaborate & Deliver:
- Translate client needs and technical documents into actionable plans.
- Organize projects to meet timelines and deliver quality results across cross-functional teams.
Document & Comply:
- Author regulatory documents and technical reports for Module 3 submissions.
- Ensure processes meet compliance and industry standards.
Advance the Field:
- Collaborate with leading universities and institutions to push the boundaries of RNA therapeutic manufacturing.
What You Bring to the Role:
Educational Background:
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience & Expertise:
- Extensive hands-on experience in RNA process development, including mRNA, self-amplifying RNA, and circular RNA.
- Deep understanding of RNA chemistry, therapeutic modalities, and analytical assays.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to manage and grow a team.
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
Forward-Thinking:
- Passion for staying ahead of emerging RNA technologies and driving innovation.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Familiarity with GMP production, scale-up processes, and CMC/Quality functions is a plus.
