Our team in Houston currently has an opening for a Lead Salesforce B2B Cloud Developer

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Salesforce B2B Cloud Developer, you will utilize your Salesforce expertise, applied commercial experience, problem-solving abilities, and creative flair to support, advise, design, build, deliver, and maintain our Salesforce ecosystem. This will require involvement in the end-to-end lifecycle of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, and configuration, alongside testing and deployment. As a Senior Salesforce B2B Cloud Developer, you will oversee in-house developers and an external development team of approximately 7-12 developers.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivery of the solution and overseeing the developers from implementation partner and internal team members
  • Understand business requirements, translate them and design scalable solutions
  • Provide consulting and coaching around best practices in Salesforce administration and customization/implementation to enhance user experience
  • Work on Salesforce automation to streamline processes
  • Manage multiple stakeholders' engagements and work with associated team members to understand projects, facilitate business process analysis sessions, and develop technology solutions for these teams
  • Identify project issues/risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve them
  • Designing and implementing solutions using B2B Commerce Cloud.
  • Design and Build reusable Lightning Components within Salesforce Customer/Partner Communities
  • Work across agile teams. Work may be cross-cutting across products, agile teams, and technologies.
  • Leverage agile methodologies focus on CI/CD
  • Focus on the customer experience, regulatory expectations and mandates, the build and delivery processes, and the problems to be solved. Have a deep understanding of the business and technical requirements for the built solutions.
  • Analyses company processes, designs Salesforce CRM workflows, and provides custom solutions for specific business requirements
  • Delivers modern, testable, and maintainable codes
  • Initiate and support performance evaluation of team members
  • Provide technical leadership by facilitating solution/design/architectural discussions.
  • Facilitate and oversee code review sessions to ensure that design and configuration are consistent across the applications and standards.
  • Provide expertise in capacity management, level-of-effort estimation, task tracking, and assignment.
  • Finds and addresses performance issues
  • Contributes to team planning, tracking and work visualization
  • Contributes to testing and code reviews
  • Implements the overall system design
  • Exhibits awareness of user experience standards
  • Holds responsibility for demonstrating appropriate, clear, concise, and effective written and oral communications in all interactions to build relationships and accomplish day-to-day work and projects
  • Optimizes performance of existing implementations
  • Effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical sides of the business in a clear and concise manner
  • Work with cross-functional scrum teams to deliver projects in iterative release cycles.
  • Identify, anticipate, assess, track, and mitigate issues, risks, roadblocks, and escalations.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate project status and metrics to stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science) or equivalent experience.
  • Salesforce Certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, PD-I or PD-II)
  • Any certification on Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus
  • 5-7 years in a technical role in the Salesforce Ecosystem
  • 4+ years of B2B Commerce Cloud and development experience
  • Experienced data architecture within the Salesforce Platform.
  • Experience managing tech projects by working with a cross-functional team of salesforce developers, product managers, data engineers, and information security experts, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Must understand eCommerce architecture, product, order, and inventory flows to create detailed designs, architectural documents, and develop complex applications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Work with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SFCC, and SF OMS for any site changes
  • Should have worked on projects supporting SFCC implementation
  • Be able to support the full code review and release management for SFCC
  • Ensure all developments are fully documented, go through a testing process, and meet high-level design requirements
  • Hands-on administrative and development experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit (Apex Classes, AURA, and lightning web components, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Force.com development best practices and design patterns
  • Solid experience in experience cloud development (Customer and Partner)
  • Experience integrating salesforce with multiple data sources
  • Solid experience in SDLC
  • Experience in Salesforce Cloud platforms (Sales, Service, B2B, App Exchange Products)
  • Technical experience in Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (like Git, SVN or similar)
  • Ability to interact with senior leaders and adapt style as needed for technical or non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data-driven and results-oriented
  • Experience delivering with an agile methodology, including through SAFe-managed teams
  • Organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in an environment
  • Ability to lead, motivate and focus a collaboration to reach challenging goals
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team
  • Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and effectively influence cross-functional teams
  • Any experience in MuleSoft will be good but not desired
  • Able to translate business needs into sustainable digital solutions.
