Lead Scheduler - Dragados USA : Job Details

Dragados (Group ACS) and Acciona Groups have been awarded a contract to finance, build and then operate for 50 years the SR400 Express Lane project of more than 25 km of managed lanes in Atlanta, Georgia. The project has a construction value of more than $4.6 billion (EUR 4.2 billion).The Lead Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the project schedule and providing detailed time analysis to Project Managers/Engineer.ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage the schedules used in the bid preparation processAbility to handle large project schedules with multiple activities and integrate to or from other owner or joint venture partner schedulesPerform take-off of quantities and activities from construction drawings or other documents for creation of construction scheduleCreate and maintain construction schedules based on specific requirement from multiple departmentsMeet with owners or joint venture partners to develop schedulesAbility to populate schedule with resource and cost informationUpdate, maintain, and revise monthly and weekly schedules and reportsCompare, and report on comparisons of monthly schedules:ChangesDelaysAccelerationsIdentify warnings and risks to the project for the purpose of mitigating the impact of these risksAnalyze monthly schedules and prepare reports for the purpose of dispute resolution issueRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related discipline.At least 15 years' experience in heavy civil or general engineering construction required working on large $B projectsAdvanced knowledge in scheduling software is required, including P6 scheduling software, Microsoft Project, Pertmaster (or similar)Ability to read and interpret construction drawingsExperience with large transportation projects (roadways, bridges, airports, etc.)Excellent technical and mathematical abilitiesProficiency in excel and word software programsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
