We are seeking a Lead Shift Supervisor, CMA (DHH Certified Medication Attendant) to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Provide daily living skills assistance to people with disabilities
- Supervise homes and employees in the department.
Qualifications:
- Valid Louisiana Driver's License for 3 year period
- Must possess typing skills/computer knowledge
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times
- Must greet visitors, employees, and client with professional courtesy at all times
CMA Requirements:
- Administers medications to community home clients in accordance with state CMA rules and regulations
- Records client vital signs on MAR as ordered by the physician.
- Ensures other medical information (such as blood sugar reading, etc.) are recorded as ordered
- Completes all necessary re-certification training in order to retain CMA Certificate
- Reports any medication errors, side effects of medications, or medication refusals to the LCC nurse immediately
- Completes all medication passes as scheduled or requested
