Experience and Qualifications Seven (7) plus years of construction experience in a lead field supervisory role. Experience in multi-family construction is preferred. An undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or a related discipline is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to lead a team, as well as direct and manage the work of subcontractors and suppliers. Must be comfortable learning and using technology such as the sector-specific software ProCore, Primavera P6, or BlueBeam, and possess a high level of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed. Must be able to travel locally to project sites as needed. OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid training certifications are preferred, but not required. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must be able to safely navigate a construction project site including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs and ladders, and working at heights. This position regularly works on-site at a construction job site where the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to loud. Responsibilities Initiate company safety protocols and ensure that safety standards are observed at all times, including OSHA, HAZCOM, NFPA, and other applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards. Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of a project's scope and intent. Create and maintain a Primavera P6-generated baseline schedule that defines the critical path and shows the completion of a project according to contract completion dates and building turnover sequence. Provide leadership and on-the-job training opportunities for a team that includes the Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and Project Engineers. Encourage and participate in staff training and development. Maintain an up-to-date, as-built set of plans for the project and ensure the completion of as-built plans by subcontractors. Prepare, maintain, and amend as needed the project site utilization plan for temporary facilities, MOT/TCP coordination, material and equipment movement, material and equipment staging, and site access. Perform pre-construction surveys by documenting existing conditions prior to the start of any work at the site. Serve as the point of contact on-site for owners, consultants, subcontractors, and inspection agencies. Manage all subcontractor work on a project including work put in place, submittals, punch list items, schedules, and safety audits. Work with project management to maintain a project's budget.
