Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lead Technology Consultant with a technical background in cybersecurity, specializing in security compliance and risk assessments. This role focuses on industry frameworks such as: NIST CSF (National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) and PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). You will be responsible for conducting security analysis, providing consultative advice, delivering executive briefings, and generating actionable reports to address compliance and security challenges.With a strong technical foundation, you'll engage directly with clients, helping them navigate security risks and achieve compliance objectives. The ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior leadership is critical to success in this role.You must be a US Citizen for consideration for this position.Location and ScheduleThis is a Work from Home position from any location in the US. The schedule is typical daytime business hours though additional hours outside of that schedule may be required depending on business and customer needs.The Main ResponsibilitiesConduct Comprehensive Security Assessments: Evaluate client environments to assess adherence to compliance requirements (NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, CMMC 2.0, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).Conduct Security Architecture Assessment: Evaluate client environment and assess gaps against cloud security best practices, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) frameworks. Perform gap analysis, requirements mapping, and provide roadmap to achieve a secure target state architecture.Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients across various industries and organizational levels, from technical teams to senior management, including CIOs. Conduct in-depth interviews to gather and analyze information on security practices and processes, assessing compliance readiness. Demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge and communication skills to convey complex security concepts effectively, tailoring insights and recommendations to meet the expectations of all stakeholders.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed, accurate reports and recommendations based on assessment findings, presenting these in clear, actionable terms for clients.Develop Compliance Strategies: Work collaboratively with clients to develop strategies and action plans to address compliance gaps.Technical Validation: Ensure clients' security measures are robust enough to meet compliance requirements by evaluating technical controls and system configurations.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on changes in compliance regulations and security best practices to provide current and proactive recommendations to clients.What We Look For in a CandidateTechnical Expertise: Strong background in IT security, with hands-on experience in security controls, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance frameworks.Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to conduct effective client interviews and explain complex security concepts in a clear, relatable way.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documenting assessments, compiling reports, and presenting findings.Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to detect nuances in compliance requirements and address them accurately.Personable & Professional: Friendly, approachable demeanor with the ability to build client trust and maintain professional relationships.Preferred Experience:Previous experience with security frameworks and standards, including NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, CMMC 2.0, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.Knowledge of security tools used in compliance testing and assessments.Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, or similar are highly valued.CompensationThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
