Job Summary: Lead Sonographer - Diagnostic Location: Burlington, VT Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging team in Burlington, VT. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality ultrasound services while supervising and mentoring staff sonographers to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.
• Lead and support a team of sonographers, ensuring compliance with departmental protocols and quality standards.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices, new technologies, and techniques in sonography.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient management.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports of ultrasound procedures and findings.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained and calibrated according to safety and quality control standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional specialty certifications in areas such as vascular or obstetric sonography.
• Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
