Fast-paced, physical role responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to established shipping schedules. Provides training and daily supervision of the technical staff in the area of responsibility, and provides input to adjust schedules based upon absences, emergency staffing and vacancies. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs all the duties of Warehouse Agent. Serves as a technical resource and/or point person of an assigned area. Assists in the supervision of staff including orientation, training, and performance evaluations. Instructs staff in proper procedures and techniques; observes and reviews work of staff to assure that standards are being followed. Provides input on performance management and coaching of assigned staff members. Assists in the supervision, receipt and unpacking of a wide variety of commodities arriving by various modes of transportation.
