Currently we have a Lean Systems Engineer role open on 1st shift. The Lean Systems Engineer will advance the Link-Belt Production system by developing, deploying, and managing lean systems and concepts to support the LBC strategic initiatives for process improvement across all areas of the company with a focus on education sustaining and reporting, an improved problem-solving methods. Essential functions of the position include:

  • Develop and deploy Lean/Continuous Improvement training
  • Coach lean leadership concepts
  • Participate in lean development of LBC suppliers, customers, and partners.
  • Facilitate process improvements through Kaizen events and projects
  • Apply lean concepts to product development processes
  • Facilitate proper use of visual management companywide
  • Develop training for lean leadership
  • Coach and mentor lean leaders
  • Other duties and special projects assigned
General qualifications for this role:
  • Four (4) year college degree
  • Minimum of four (4) years of industrial manufacturing experience and well versed in related Lean principles
