Our organization includes development, construction, property management and investment management with a specialty in multifamily housing and self-storage facilities. Opportunities for our Learning and Development Specialist:

Logistics Management

  • Manage all logistics for training courses and sessions (standardized materials, collect needs, manage bookings, arrange facilities and refreshments, etc.)
  • Ensure courses and programs run on schedule, solving problems as they arise.
  • Continually increase efficiency of L&D logistics.

Systems Management

  • Maintain current, accurate records in LMS.
  • Maintain current, accurate training courses in LMS.
  • Continually increase learner utilization of LMS.
  • Build, maintain and execute the annual training plan.

Organizational Communication

  • Create and maintain evergreen content where appropriate.
  • Provide real-time access to L&D information.
  • Continually monitor incoming questions to improve clarity and availability of information related to L&D.
  • Assist with L&D communications.
  • Indirectly lead and influence a growing team and proactively support colleagues across the organization

Finances

  • Process internal billbacks and chargebacks.
  • Vendor management including processing payments.
  • Manage expenses related to L&D.
  • Maintain training supplies.

Project work

  • Help develop and implement L&D policies and best practices.
  • Manage the L&D portion of the mystery shop system.
  • May include managing workforce development grant administration in the future.

Reports to: Director Learning and Development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in learning and development ideal
  • Proficient computer literacy including Windows, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, data analytics software.
