SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all aspects of the Learning to Work Program
- Develop Internships sites throughout the NYC area
- Provide guidance to worksite supervisors as needed
- Plan and facilitate weekly job readiness groups with students
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict mediationas needed
- Develop and implement student enrichment activities and after school electives
- Proactively engage students via phone, email, text and in-person conversation both reminding and encouraging them to come to school.
- Coordinate student needs with services, programing, and resources that surrounds each person with the social and emotional well-being that adds enrichment for the high school students with attendance and academic challenges.
- Complete necessary data entry as required in data systems in a timely manner
- Works as a collaborative team with faculty, including participating in staff meetings, retreats
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree and related experience; MSW Preferred
- Experienced and Demonstrated skill in working with youth and their families
- Demonstrated ability in planning, facilitation, and coordination of group work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to work from a strengths-based and youth development perspectives
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with staff members
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Diverse cultural competence is a must
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel, email correspondence, and database management a requisite

Salary starting at 45,000 with BA and up to $55,000 with Master's
