Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Lease Coordinator works with BRCs Housing Program to source apartments for clients participating within the Metropolitan Apartments Program and the Home Plus Program.

Description:

We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lease Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the leasing process for our apartment properties, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will work closely with tenants, property managers, and leasing agents to facilitate the smooth execution of lease agreements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and multitasking skills, as well as a strong understanding of real estate and leasing procedures.

Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate lease agreements, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

+ Schedule and conduct property showings for prospective tenants.

+ Process rental applications and conduct background and credit checks on potential tenants.

+ Provide support to Hand Up and Metropolitan Apartments staff with lease-related inquiries and issues.

+ Collaborate with property managers and leasing agents to ensure properties are well-maintained and attractive to potential tenants.

+ Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures as needed, including conducting property inspections and handling security deposit refunds.

+ Maintain accurate and updated records of lease agreements, rental payments, and tenant information.

+ Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants, including creating and posting listings on various platforms.

+ Conduct periodic property inspections to ensure compliance with lease agreements and identify any maintenance or repair needs.

+ Related Duties as assigned

Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in real estate or related field is preferred.

+ Proven experience in lease coordination or property management.

+ Strong knowledge of real estate and leasing procedures.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Proficient in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

+ Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

*Vaccination preferred but not required.

Hours:

Full-time 37.5 hours per week

+ Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
