Job Summary The Lease Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Real Estate Department in tracking lease status, rents, landlord/tenant relations, payable/receivables (CAM, Taxes, Business Licenses). The coordinator will collaborate on related projects and initiatives with internal departments and external partners. Key Responsibilities
- Consistent updating of lease portfolio database
- Update Lease Abstracts identifying key terms/language
- Assist in planning, development and execution of quarterly rent forecasts and annual budget projections
- Reconcile monthly landlord statements
- Preparation of monthly occupancy payments
- Provide due diligence documentation reviews of executed document packages
- Annual reconciliation review of Real Estate Tax, CAM, Insurance reconciliations
- Tracking business licenses for portfolio
- Special projects regarding subleasing language and negotiations, financial analysis, negotiations, and as needed projects upon request
Essential Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Aggressive negation skills when dealing with landlords
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint and Access abilities
- Attention to detail
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience working in a retail leasing/commercial property role
