OVERVIEWThe role of the leasing agent is to greet all callers and visitors in a helpful, competent and friendly manner and direct those callers/visitors to the appropriate department.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- answer telephone, screen and direct calls
- take and relay messages
- provide information to callers
- greet persons entering organization
- direct persons to correct destination
- deal with queries from the public and customers
- ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
- monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
- provide general administrative and clerical support for all departments
- prepare correspondence and documents for all departments as instructed
- receive and sort mail and deliveries
- schedule appointments
- maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
- organize conference and meeting room bookings
- co-ordinate meetings
- monitor and control inventory
- tidy and maintain the reception area
- conduct all business in accordance with Sunquest Properties' policies and procedures, Fair
- Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other Federal and States laws
GENERAL
- Performs any additional duties assigned by Property Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- Position prefers 2 years of secretarial or heavy office experience.
WORK HOURS40 hours per week with flexible work-week, including weekends.DRIVING/TRAVELING REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent need to utilize personal transportation for mail run and supply runs
- Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
