Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join their client's vibrant team in California. The ideal candidate will work at a 168-unit affordable family housing community in San Jose, CA, specifically at a Tax Credit / HMMF Bond property. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for property management and affordable housing, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the community.

Responsibilities
  • Assist potential tenants by providing property tours and answering questions about the leasing process.
  • Ensure that all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leasing activity and tenant information.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to ensure the property is well-maintained and meets all housing standards.
  • Utilize knowledge of Tax Credit and HMMF Bond property requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of related apartment leasing experience.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and practices.
  • COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday

Benefits

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $19 to $25, based on experience and qualifications.
