For more information, please visit www.cousins.com.Job Summary:The Leasing Associate is responsible for supporting Cousins' Atlanta leasing initiatives with a career path to leasing manager. Opportunity to join a dynamic, well established team representing Atlanta's largest landlord with over 8 million square feet of Class A Product. Compensation includes a base salary, commission, and benefits. This position is on-site. This is not a remote or hybrid position.Description of Responsibilities:
- Interfaces with brokers as it relates to preliminary marketing information and/or coordinating schedules
- Maintains broker and vacant space databases; manages lease files and Costar listings
- Assists teammates with and conducts tours for new/prospective tenants
- Prepares lease proposals and net effective rate analyses
- Coordinates distribution, execution and processing of pre-lease, lease, and commission documentation and payments
- Proactively builds relationships within brokerage community and maintains knowledge of market and competitive assets
- Works with architects to update and maintains current lease logs for marketing diagrams
- Coordinates with marketing to determine use of marketing budget for special events/product
- Supports marketing plan as it relates to collateral preparation, tour materials, advertising, broker and tenant entertainment and special events
- Works with asset management, accounting and property management as pertains to invoicing, budget, and other special projects
- Monthly and quarterly reporting for leasing updates and information required in ownership and market reports

- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in Real Estate, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing or sales (office leasing experience preferred)
- Will need to become a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Georgia
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to read and interpret lease documents accurately
- Interpersonal and Organizational Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and build relationships at all organizational levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
