Summary: The Leasing Professional is key to delivering a premier living experience, specializing in apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals. This role provides outstanding service to both prospective and current residents. Responsibilities include efficient handling of all inquiries, conducting tours for potential residents, managing leasing documents, and overseeing move-in procedures. The Leasing Professional ensures all interactions and processes comply with relevant laws and company guidelines, aiming for timely and effective communication at all stages.
Essential Job Duties:
Traffic Management: Daily update of unit availability and guest interactions in the system. Research the property, community, and competitors to support marketing efforts. Quickly answer calls and emails from potential residents.
Prospective Resident Engagement: Check model and available apartments daily to ensure they are presentable. Guide potential residents on tours, highlighting apartment features. Keep track of all interactions with guests and manage the application process, including qualification verification and timely communication of application outcomes.
Leasing Responsibilities: Organize lease signings promptly after application approval, finalize lease agreements, and manage initial payments. Ensure new residents are correctly entered into the system.
Current Resident Support: Execute outreach through mailings, distribute informational materials, and engage in resident retention efforts. Record all interactions with existing residents.
Collaboration and Compliance: Support the property manager as needed, maintain positive relationships with all contacts, and contribute to achieving property goals. Ensure all activities comply with federal, state, and company housing policies.
