At the same time, we manage opportunistic and value-add investments through our investment management platform.

Acadia Realty Trust is seeking a Leasing Representative to join the leasing team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with an enthusiasm to grow their career within the commercial real estate industry.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Negotiating letters of intent, new leases, lease renewals and other documents for new and existing shop tenants

* Assisting the Senior Leasing Director with the negotiation of national anchor tenant leases.

* Canvassing local retailers to generate new leads

* Tracking and monitoring lease expirations, lease options, and notice dates

* Qualifying prospective tenants by analyzing financials, business plans and references

* Coordinating with Legal to ensure the timely processing of lease documents, tenant defaults, and eviction notices

* Research and closely monitoring market conditions (i.e. average occupancy, new vacancies, rents)

* Working with Marketing/Communications to maximize company's participation in all industry-related events (i.e. ICSC conventions) and developing appropriate marketing materials

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2+ years of retail leasing experience

* Bachelor's degree required

* Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

* Strong organizational skills

* Strong written and verbal communications skills

* Ability to prioritize challenging work schedule/ multitask

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to travel to visit properties

The base salary compensation range for this role reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000.

Employees may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
