POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESHealthpeak Properties is seeking an experienced real estate professional to join the Company's Leasing, Outpatient Medical business. Critical to success will be innovative thinking, go-getter mentality, attention to detail, and operational excellence to manage leasing team requirements and responsibilities. The successful candidate, reporting the Assistant Vice President of Leasing, will work with the entire Leasing team to drive successful financial results through leasing support, market data, broker and tenant relationships, forecasting/budgeting, and various portfolio management duties. The position will handle a broad range of functions in the leasing process and will have direct revenue impact for the company's Outpatient Medical portfolio. This candidate requires knowledge of real estate documents. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with leasing process including entering deals into leasing software, drafting and reviewing relevant leasing proposals, calculating remaining lease obligations, reviewing ground lease/leasing documents, tracking critical dates, clearing encumbrances, reviewing commission invoices for payment, coordinating tenant credit reviews with accounting
  • Work closely with assigned Leasing Directors on leasing strategy for respective markets
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on creating market and tenant relationship reports, joint venture reporting support, and ensuring compliance with brand standards amongst broker partners
  • May participate in meetings with hospital and broker partners alongside Leasing Directors
  • Oversee broker support for the implementation and ongoing utilization of Yardi Deal Manager
  • Participate in tracking Kingsley survey results pertaining to leasing
  • Manage company-wide documentation transfer pertaining to lease-related correspondence
  • Create and maintain various leasing-related reports - Fair Market Values, Commissions, Broker Contacts and Assignments, National Tenant Rep Brokers, National Tenants, etc.
  • Actively participate in annual leasing budget input and review process
  • Leverage financial, market, and industry data to identify opportunities/risks within assigned portfolio
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Commercial Real Estate, experience within the Outpatient Medical industry a plus but not required
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with commercial leases
  • Strong financial, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks with limited oversight and training
  • Ability to travel (~15%) to Healthpeak real estate markets and industry conferences as needed
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
