Job Description PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify frame code by style cover components and options.
- Maintain a yield of 67% or higher and nest at least 150 SQ_FT of leather per hour.
- Read the traveler for correct instructions on what the primary cover will be composed of.
- Inspect and select more suitable leather to complete the assigned schedule group.
- Understand the basics of the different leather types and flaws by utilizing a leather manual
- Perform reworks as required
- Assure that the nesting station receives the appropriate maintenance/clean-up and performs at acceptable levels.
- Ability to operate a computer including the mouse function
- Familiar with the leather hides and their quality standards.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time while operating equipment
- Ability to read drawings a plus
- Basic knowledge of English and Math
- Long term standing and kneeling
- Occasional bending and stooping
- Grasping and pushing
- Wrist flexion/extension
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
