Lecturer (2 positions) - TENNESSEE TECH UNIVERSITY : Job Details

Essential Functions Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction; teaching in areas such as qualitative research and Secondary English education; Delivering online and on-ground instruction to pre-service students and graduate professionals; providing service at the University, professional and community levels; developing and maintaining partnerships with area school districts for student field and clinical experiences; and engaging in program development with faculty. Candidates will be evaluated based on how their education and experiences have prepared them to successfully execute all of the duties of the position. Lecturer positions are non-tenure track, 3-year appointments renewable based on satisfactory performance.Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree in an educational field; active teaching license (or eligible for renewal) full-time higher education teaching experience; evidence of successful university teaching; evidence of scholarship (publications, grants, etc); demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively with faculty, colleagues and administrators; ability to integrate technology into instruction; ability to teach in an online setting.Preferred Qualifications Evidence of successful university teaching. Evidence of experience and leadership in the education profession. Potential for establishing and maintaining a record of scholarly productivity (possible examples: peer-reviewed publications, acquisition of external funding, and presentations or leadership at state, regional and national levels).Compensation and Benefits
