Adjunct Faculty - Kinesiology (Spring - Summer 2025)Job no: 497076 Work type: Adjunct Location: Jacksonville, AL (Main Campus) Categories: FacultyJacksonville State UniversityAdjunct FacultyKinesiologyJob SummaryThe Department of Kinesiology is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach courses in the program areas of Health & Physical Education, Exercise Science & Wellness, Public Health, Dietetics & Nutrition, Athletic Training, and Sport Management & Recreation Studies at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. These courses are offered in-person, hybrid and online with experience in all three instruction methods preferred.The minimum required qualifications for this position include a master's degree in one or more of the program areas indicated above including 18 credit hours in the specific desired teaching area.   • Master's degree in Health & Physical Education, Exercise Science & Wellness, Public Health, Dietetics & Nutrition, Athletic Training, and Sport Management & Recreation Studies or training and experience in the field to be qualified to teach specific courses.
  • Experience with in-person, hybrid, or online instruction

  • Master's degree in one or more of the program areas indicated above.
  • College or University teaching experience.
  • Teaching and/or conducting action research either at K-12 or higher education levels
  • Evidence of teaching excellence.
