We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have a high level of attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. This position requires a professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks, and maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, with a focus on legal document preparation, document review, and the discovery process. Bilingual candidates with proficiency in Spanish are highly desirable.Responsibilities:As a Personal Injury Legal Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation and review of legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and assisting with the discovery process.
- Ensuring legal compliance in all matters.
- Assisting with the management of medical records.
- Scheduling hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Maintaining an organized calendar and managing e-filing systems.
- Coordinating travel for trials and depositions.
- Providing general legal assistance to our team of attorneys.
- Utilizing Dropbox and other digital tools for file management and collaboration.
- Assisting with trial work as needed.
Qualifications:To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, preferably within the personal injury practice area.
- Proficiency in legal document preparation and review.
- Familiarity with the discovery process and legal compliance requirements.
- Experience with medical records management.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a busy calendar and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- Experience with trial work is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Dropbox for file management and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
