  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange meeting logistics
  • Create, maintain, and organize electronic files
  • Prepare transmittal cover letters and client emails
  • Save, print, and file document submissions
  • Help project track status expirations and renewals
  • Proofread and edit lengthy documents
  • Review attorneys' monthly invoices for accuracy
  • Interact comfortably and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Prepare firm memoranda to open new matters
  • Ordering, stocking, and monitoring inventory of office supplies, snacks, and beverages.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of conference rooms and office
  • Provide other clerical support as needed
Our ideal Legal Assistant will have:
  • 0-2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant OR Executive Assistant
  • Naturally upbeat, cheerful, positive, team-focused attitude
  • High level of problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and top notch organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to complete projects with little direction
  • Desire to foster positive, collegial relationships with peers and co-workers
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in anticipating team's support needs and executing without being asked
  • General office and computer experience
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Reliable attendance record
  • Experience with editing, revising, and drafting of legal documents
  • Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work product
  • Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate
Salary range DOE: $20-$26.00/hour The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for. Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.Along with competitive pay, as a full-time employee you are eligible for the following benefits:
