Job Description :

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Legal Assistant to support their highly accomplished Chairman. The position is hybrid and based part of the week at their office in Armonk, NY. Must be available and willing to work overtime and occasional weekend (paid OT). Partners with a group of other assistants in support of the Chairman.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Heavy, detailed calendar management
  • Confidential document preparation and editing
  • Manage emails and ensure timely responses
  • Make sure important emails get to the correct people for response or follow-up
  • Input diaries for attorneys
  • Arrange extensive travel plans and logistics
  • In office 3 days per week, ability to work weekends
  • Answering phones and transcribing phone dictation
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 5+ years executive or administrative assistance experience
  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret documents
  • Time management, decision making, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Typing speed: 65 wpm
  • Knowledge of Westlaw, Lexis, iTimekeep and NetDocs is a plus
  • Self-starter that can work independently

Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 based on experience, non-exempt
