Legal Director CIB - Phoenix Recruitment Limited : Job Details

We are assisting our client, a very prestigious global financial services institution, to hire an experienced attorney, with solid corporate investment banking/capital markets transactional experience.Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice on CIB transactions, including but not limited to, initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and private placements, debt offerings for domestic and international issuers.

Advise on compliance matters.

Advise on legal and regulatory developments impacting the financial services industry and provide guidance to management.

Develop and implement internal policies and procedures across the corporate and investment banks.

Manage a team.

Manage external counsel.

Advise lines of business on best practices that help minimize legal and litigation risk.

Assist in developing and managing departmental budget for both internal and external legal spend.Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Admitted in good standing in at least 1 US jurisdiction, ideally New York, for a minimum of 10 years.

Experience advising financial institution clients.

Ideally have a combination of law firm and in-house experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
