A growing publishing company is currently seeking a remote experienced Legal Operations Process and Technology Manager professional to join their team. Responsibilities: The Legal Operations Process and Technology Manager (Remote) will:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of workflows, technology and tools that support the legal and compliance team's activities, such as commercial contract negotiation and management, matter management, e-billing, document management, knowledge management, and litigation reporting
- Collaborate with the procurement, IT and legal organization in identifying the desired functionality, selecting, procuring, deploying, and administering legal software
- Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for the legal and compliance team and other users of the legal systems and data
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in legal operations and technology
- Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors and service providers
- Facilitate and champion the department's Knowledge Management system
Qualifications:
- Experience in Legal Operations for a Law firm or In-House Law Department
- Deep understanding of Legal Technology, Process Management, and Knowledge Management
- Knowledge of the Legal industry, processes, and functions, and the technologies and solutions that support them
- Familiarity with Project Management, Process Improvement, and Change Management methodologies & tools
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
