Legal Rankings & Awards Specialist - The Ford Agency : Job Details

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Legal Rankings & Awards Specialist role to join the marketing team at a top DC law firm. The Specialist will write and edit a wide array of marketing materials to best position the firm, attorneys, and practice groups in industry publications and the news. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with marketing experience who is looking to continue to grow in a law firm setting.

Responsibilities Include:

• Draft award nominations, editorial submissions, and news releases
• Collaborate with marketing team on legal directory submissions
• Write, review and edit content for award nominations
• Keep track of deadlines, nomination results, and update the team
• Research new opportunities for legal directory and legal awards
• Coordinate with a variety of legal publications specifically with awards and nominations
• Assist with other media relations and communications projects

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• 3+ years of marketing or public relations experience
• Law firm experience strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate with attorneys, media, and other professionals
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
