Required attendance at Lehi Cares Community Board meeting every third Tuesday of the month.DEPARTMENT: PoliceJOB SUMMARYThe Lehi Cares Coalition works to reduce youth health and behavior problems such as drug use, delinquency, school dropout and suicide. The purpose of this position is to support the Lehi Cares Coalition Coordinator in the execution of coalition activities. Hours worked will be 20 hours per week. This position is hybrid (some required in-person meetings/events as well as a lot of flexibility for at-home work). Some training meetings/events may require travel. Job duties include:
- Provide general administrative support to the Coalition Coordinator
- Manage calendars and coordinate events/meetings with volunteers, local officials, school district leaders and other community leaders
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents
- Maintain office filing systems and online databases
- Coordinate orders for promotional items, catering, printing, etc.
- Assist in preparing reports, grants, meeting minutes, and presentations
- Prepare and submit billing for monthly grant reimbursements
- Apply for and manage yearly grants for coalition funding
- Manage coalition social media accounts and design marketing communications
- Assist with setting up, participating in and leading coalition meetings/events
- Assist with organizing, carrying out and evaluating the CTC process to facilitate the coalition reaching its goals
- Support additional coalition activities as needs arise
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONSRequirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
- Demonstrated graphic design skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with phone systems and Facebook/Instagram platforms
- Previous experience in clerical or administrative roles is preferred

ADMINISTRATIVE - Possess the ability to organize and prepare work under general guidance and direction; ability to work under pressure caused by scheduling and conflicting agendas; considerable ability to build and maintain cooperative relationships; ability to portray a positive demeanor. Ability to plan, organize, and carry out duties assigned. PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT - Primarily performs duties in an office environment with a normal atmosphere to provide physical comfort. Must be able participate in programs as necessary to effectively supervise and oversee all related activities. Duties involve repetitive motions associated with routine data input, sitting in one workstation for long periods of time, and regular public contacts including potentially uncomfortable or confrontational situations.
