Strong preference will be given to candidates able to work from the Chicago, IL or the New York, NY offices on a hybrid work schedule. Why we need you: CSH is seeking a creative, results-oriented individual committed to racial equity, advancing anti-racism practices, and sharing their talent to support a mission-driven organization that leads efforts to expand housing and service solutions for highly impacted populations. Your expertise is needed on our Finance Team to collect and manage project data in compliance with U.S. Department of Treasury's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) program requirements, including all CDFI programs (FA, NMTC, CMF, ERP, etc.) and support other lending data collection efforts within CSH. The Lending Data Coordinator reports to the Director, Loan Administration and is a member of CSH's Finance Team. What you will do: In collaboration with CSH's Finance Teams, you will:
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with project sponsors/borrowers and other CSH partners.
- Collect borrower/sponsor financial and impact reporting required per the loan documents. Report to asset management and community investment teams on any delinquent reporting.
- Keep current with and ensure data collection is adequate to maintain compliance with CDFI Fund program requirements.
- Identify and address compliance issues in coordination with other asset management staff.
- Collect, monitor, and review required reporting from Sponsors/Borrowers to ensure reporting is completed on-time and in accordance with all reporting requirements.
- Create and maintain reports and data on closed projects that showcase the impact and performance of our projects to internal and external stakeholders
- Regularly update CSH data collection tools and loan servicing system with new data.
- Review new CDFI awards and allocations prior to closing to ensure that required data tracking meets the compliance needs of the program.
- Work with asset management team to analyze data quality prior to major reporting deadlines.
- Assist in preparing the organization's annual applications to the CDFI Fund and the annual reporting submission in its Award Management Information System (AMIS)
- Creatively identify ways to further strengthen and improve asset management and compliance systems
- Complete special projects and assignments as needed
- Coordinate with other CSH teams (e.g. Community Investment, Data & Analytics) on cross-team sharing of CDFI data.

- Bachelor's degree, but experience may substitute for education.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in community development, real estate finance, asset management and/or non-profit lending is preferred.
- Must be organized, analytic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers/data; have excellent written and verbal communication skills; and demonstrated experience managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines.
- An interest in affordable and supportive housing, community development, and in supporting the development of housing and supportive services needed to address homelessness and advance CSH's mission, is required.
- A conceptual understanding of institutional/structural racism and bias and their impact on underrepresented communities, along with strong interpersonal communication skills to work with racially, ethnically, and socially diverse stakeholders, is needed.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is required.
- Candidates seeking to work remotely or hybrid must provide their own access to a secure high-speed internet signal (preferably hard-wired) at a capacity sufficient to support video, web, and email processing simultaneously based on their personal work environment. This is typically 100 MB and above.

- Data Coordinator in highest geography (E.G. New York City, Seattle, Boston, Washington DC, San Francisco) $62,000 - $78,000
- Data Coordinator in mid-range geography (E.G. Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, San Deigo, Hartford) $56,000 - $71,000
- Data Coordinator in lower mid-range geography (E.G. Minneapolis, Portland, Austin, Las Vegas, Baltimore) $53,000 - $67,000
- Data Coordinator in low-range geography (E.G. Atlanta, Tampa, Phoenix, Nashville, Indianapolis, New Orleans) $49,000 - $61,000
Our ranges are broad, and it is customary for candidates to join CSH at the lower half of the range to leave room for growth, learning, and development in the role and range. It is uncommon for starting salaries to fall above the mid-point.
