As a Level 1 Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent technical assistance and customer support to our internal and remote users. You should possess a strong background in Windows Active Directory (AD), Office 365 apps, Citrix Workspace, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies. Experience with Apple Mac systems will be considered a plus. Your dedication to resolving technical issues and ensuring a smooth IT environment will contribute significantly to the success of our organization.Responsibilities:Provide prompt and efficient technical support to end-users via various channels, including phone, Remote access apps, email, and in-person.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory (AD) accounts, user groups, permissions, and policies.Assist in the configuration and troubleshooting of Citrix Workspace for remote access and application virtualization.Provide support for in-house ERP systems, assisting users with navigation, troubleshooting, and basic functionality.Implement and support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions to enhance security across the organization.Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and follow up on problem resolution.Document all support activities, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in the IT knowledge base for future reference.Conduct new employee IT onboarding, including hardware and software setup, account creation, and system access configuration.Monitor IT infrastructure and escalate potential security threats or system abnormalities to the appropriate teams.Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and licenses.Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to IT support and technologies.Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of the IT environment.Collaborate with the server team to assist in patching and updating servers to ensure a secure and stable infrastructure.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Proven experience as a Level 1 IT Support Technician or in a similar technical support role.In-depth knowledge of Windows Active Directory (AD), user management, group policies, and permissions.Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Citrix Workspace for remote access and application delivery.Familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions and their implementation.Experience with Office 365 and its applications will be considered a plus.Knowledge of Apple Mac systems and troubleshooting experience is an advantage.Experience in server patching and updates is a strong advantage.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear and concise support to end-users.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to handling IT support tasks.Certifications in relevant technologies such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) will be advantageous.In a Nutshell:Job Type: Full-TimeSalary: $26.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discount401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee discountFlexible Spending AccountDependent CareLife insuranceSchedule:8 hour shift5 days/week on-siteWork Location: On-site in Plainview, NY 11803: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)*Pre-Employment Background and Drug Screens will be performed*CANDIDATES ONLY, Purity Products does not accept unsolicited assistance, information, or resumes from search firms or individuals involved in candidate placements for a fee.
