Level 2-3 Assembler - Orion Talent : Job Details

Position Details:• Title: Level 2-3 Assembler• Location: Pinellas Park, FL• Compensation: $18.39-$22.97 (annual merit based raise as well as annual automatic raise of $.60/hr)• Benefits: Medical, Dental 401k, PTOPosition Description:• Performs a variety of operations to manufacture, assemble and/or refurbish various aircraft parts and structures.• Assemblies can require controlled tooling as well as build to print. Tasks include aligning parts on jigs using both templates and fixtures.• Must be able to drill close tolerance holes. Performs part-fitting operations such as minor filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working.• Measures parts with a variety of methods to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs.• Works from blueprint diagrams, drawings, specifications, and shop orders.• Monitors and verifies quality and develops corrective action.• Performs other duties as assigned. Preforms corrosion inspection and repair per engineering requirements.Requirements:(Level 2)• Must have experience with use of hand tools (i.e. torque wrench, drills and inspection tools, riveting tools, and various other hand tools).• Ability to read and interpret assembly Drawings or Instructions.• Focus on cost, quality, schedule and safety• Aircraft Assembly experience• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (or equivalent)(Level 3)• 1 - 2 years of sheet metal assembly/aircraft sheet metal structure experience is required• Must be able to use hand tools (drills, torque wrench and inspections tools)• Basic Computer Skills• Focus on cost, quality, schedule and safety• Aircraft Assembly experience
