Library Assistant, Horace Mann Library - Northwest Missouri State University : Job Details

Of Position: To assist Faculty/ Staff, NWMSU students, and Horace Mann students with their library needs. Duties and Responsibilities:Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, opening and/or closing the library, assisting patrons in finding books, checking out/checking in books, shelving books, maintaining general cleanliness of the library, and other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications:Minimum knowledge of how a library functions,Ability to be a self-starter. Ability to work with colleagues and patrons in a professional manner. Successful completion of a background check. Wage Rate: $10.30 Length of Employment: Spring & Fall Semesters. Hours Available: 8-10 Start Date: February 03, 2025 Additional Information: Prospective student employees must be available to work between the hours of 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
