Library Assistant - Touro College & University System : Job Details

Assist in the delivery of library services and programs and daily maintenance operations. Responsibilities Assist in the delivery of library services, programs, and daily maintenance operations. Provides reference and bibliographic services including instruction, assistance in the use of library resources and services. Knowledge of Sierra is a plus but training is provided. Supervises the daily operations of a library including facility and collection maintenance, materials, receipt and reconciliation and record keeping and tabulation. Works in cooperation with other librarians to receive and processes all Inter-library loan requests. Library Assistance should make every effort to make sure the library atmosphere be one of cooperation and civility. Perform other duties as assigned and contribute to the overall efficiency of the library Qualifications Experience/ Education. Bachelor of Arts required. Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities.
