Technical Services AssistantThe Cleveland Institute of Art invites applications for Library Assistant, Technical Services at the Jessica R. Gund Memorial Library. The library fosters an atmosphere that encourages inquiry, inclusion, collaboration, and exploration to help our communitythink, create, share, engage, and grow.Technical Services responsibilities include managing the library's periodical collection, copy cataloging, and providing a broad range of clerical support for the library's acquisitions, cataloging, and processing functions.Circulation duties include providing circulation and reference services to a diverse and highly creative population.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceAccuracy and attention to detailSolid computer skillsStrong problem solving and prioritization skillsFriendly customer service expertiseSelf-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal direction and maximum interruptionsThe work schedule for this full-time position varies. During the academic year the work schedule for Monday through Thursday is afternoon and evening hours, with morning and afternoon hours on Friday. During breaks and summer, the work schedule is weekdays only. Compensation This is a full-time benefits eligible non-exempt position. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
