Type of Announcement: The primary duties of this position are located within 30 miles of the state border; therefore, this position is exempt from the residency requirement. Transcripts from colleges or universities outside the United States must be assessed for US equivalency by a NACES educational credential evaluation service. This is a full-time position beginning spring 2025. Examples of Duties
    • Acquiring, organizing, managing, and distributing library resources
    • Ensuring the library meets the needs of the students
    • Supporting student and faculty research
    • Developing effective IT facilities on campus
    • Helping students and faculty find the information they need
    • Organizing and maintaining books, journals, and other research materials
    • Collaborating with faculty to integrate information literacy into the curriculum
    • Ensuring that digital resources are up to date and accessible
    • Providing customer service for library users
    • Engaging with the academic community through outreach activities, including workshops, presentations, and events that promote library resources and services
    • Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • The successful candidate must submit to and successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
